My journey began as a young single mother, where finding balance between work and family life became my priority. During this time, I built a career within the beauty industry and eventually owned my own salon. It was here that I discovered a genuine passion for working with people — listening to their stories, understanding their experiences, and recognising the many challenges individuals quietly carry through life.
A conversation with a client later opened the door into mental health and social care, leading me to work across private, charity, and NHS services. Through these experiences, I became increasingly aware of the emotional pressures placed upon staff and the impact this can have on both personal wellbeing and the continuity of support provided to vulnerable individuals.
Wanting to deepen my understanding of people and human behaviour, I returned to education to study Psychology and Sociology before completing a Master’s degree in Social Work.
Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about advocacy, reflective support, emotional wellbeing, and helping people feel heard, valued, and empowered. I later became a Practice Educator supporting student social workers and encouraging compassionate, emotionally intelligent practice.
Over time, I recognised a growing gap within workplaces. Despite increasing wellbeing initiatives, many people still feel emotionally unsupported, disconnected, and unable to access genuine human conversation in safe and approachable ways.
CRERIE Wellbeing Consultancy was created from this understanding.
The consultancy was developed to provide a more human-centred and emotionally informed approach to workplace wellbeing — bringing compassion, presence, reflective support, and emotional safety back into workplace culture.

At CRERIE Wellbeing Consultancy, we believe wellbeing support should feel human first.
In many workplaces, people are expected to continue functioning professionally while carrying significant emotional pressure behind the scenes. Staff often support others every day while having limited opportunities to reflect on their own wellbeing, emotional needs, or personal challenges.
Our philosophy is centred around creating compassionate and emotionally safe spaces where individuals feel genuinely listened to, respected, and supported without judgement.
We understand that emotional wellbeing is not simply about productivity or performance. It is about human experience, emotional safety, connection, and feeling valued within the environments where people spend much of their lives.
Through a calm and reflective approach, we aim to help individuals feel less alone in the pressures they may be carrying while encouraging healthier and more compassionate workplace cultures.
Throughout my career, one consistent theme has remained at the centre of everything I do — people.
From working within the beauty industry and owning a salon, to later working across mental health, social care, charity, and NHS environments, I have always been drawn towards supporting individuals through conversation, empathy, reflection, and understanding.
Working closely with people from many different backgrounds allowed me to witness how emotional wellbeing can affect every area of life, including confidence, relationships, resilience, and the ability to cope with everyday pressures.
As my career evolved, I became increasingly aware of the emotional impact experienced by professionals working within demanding environments. Many staff members were quietly managing emotional exhaustion while continuing to provide care, support, and compassion to others every day.
This understanding became one of the driving forces behind creating CRERIE Wellbeing Consultancy.
